Private Lessons

A private dog training lesson here at Faultless K9 is all about you. While we absolutely work with your dog during the session, our main focus is teaching you how to become your dog’s trainer. Our goal is to give you the knowledge, confidence, and skills to communicate clearly with your dog and create lasting results at home and in everyday life.

Every private lesson is tailored specifically to you, your dog, and your goals. We take the time to understand your lifestyle, challenges, and what you want your dog to be capable of. No two lessons are the same, because no two dogs or families are the same. During your sessions, we answer your questions, break down the “why” behind everything we do, and provide clear, practical steps that lead to real progress.

Our lessons are designed to build strong foundations and give you the tools to handle your dog in any situation. Whether you’re starting with a new puppy or working through advanced training, we meet you where you are and help you move forward with structure, clarity, and consistency.

Through private training, you and your dog can learn everything from puppy development and basic obedience to advanced obedience and real-world reliability. We also specialize in behavioral modification, helping with issues such as reactivity, anxiety, aggression, and lack of impulse control. In addition, we offer guidance in bite work, protection training, scent work, agility, and more. No job is too big, and no dog is too small. Through our lessons, you can truly learn it all.

The biggest benefit of private training is that it creates independence. Instead of relying on a trainer long-term, you gain the ability to problem solve, communicate, and continue progressing with your dog for years to come. We don’t just give you commands to follow—we teach you how to think, how to read your dog, and how to build a strong, balanced relationship based on trust and leadership.

At Faultless K9, we believe structure creates freedom. When both the dog and the human understand expectations, life becomes easier, calmer, and more enjoyable for everyone. Our private lessons are designed to give you the tools to create that freedom and maintain your dog’s success long after training is complete.

-Private Lessons start at: 

125$ for 30 Minutes - OR - 175$ for 1 Hour

REMINDER: If it is your first lesson with us, it will be a mandatory 1 Hour minimum. As it is not only a Training Lesson, but also an evaluation. So there is ALOT of grounds to cover on the first meeting. From their, booking further lessons you will be given the option to either 30 or 60 minute bookings.

IN HOME VISITS - YES, We offer house calls / in home visits. We travel with in 30 Miles of our Location here in Auburn Maine. It is an additional 50$, and a 1 Hour minimum (225$) total. We also offer Visits with in 1 Hour of our location, it is an additional $100 Service charge for time and travel. Totaling $275 if we have travel between 30 - 60mins of our location. Reminder, when doing house visits it is a bare minimum of 1 HOUR!

-E Collar Training & Use Tutorial (175$) if you come to us, (225$ - 275$) if we come to you. E-Collar Lessons Run a minimum of 1 hour (60) Minutes!

- We Usually stay Booked out roughly 3 - 6 Weeks On Private Lessons. How ever we are Always Proudly Accepting New Clients. CALL OR TEXT AnyTime for a FREE Consultation & Lets get a Training Plan set up right away, that suits BOTH YOU & YOUR DOGS Training Needs!  

A $25 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS MADE AT THE TIME OF BOOKING, ALL REMAINING BALANCES ARE PAID IN (CASH) AT THE TIME OF YOUR LESSON. If you show up to your appointment, the $25 deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the private lesson!

REMINDER: If you are on the Schedule & can NOT make it to your Appointment, PLEASE CALL Ahead of time to either Cancel, or Re-Schedule. ALL NO CALL NO SHOWS, Will be RED FLAGGED. Upon Re-Booking You will be REQUIRED to pay for your Lesson in FULL. If you call to cancel or reschedule, you will forfeit your deposit, upon re-scheduling you will be required to make another $25 Deposit. This policy went into effect as of: 01/15/2024 to eliminate last minute cancelations, reschedules, and no call no shows!
